About Detachment 1112

Serving our community with Marine Corps pride, purpose, and brotherhood.

Lakelands Marines Detachment 1112 is a proud chapter of the Marine Corps League, rooted in service, fellowship, and community. We are veterans, supporters, and active duty members who come together to uphold the values of the Corps while giving back locally—through service projects, youth outreach, Toys for Tots, the Veterans Day Parade in Greenwood, and more. We forge meaningful connections, support veterans and families, and honor our shared legacy with every event we lead. Together, we remain committed to the core ideals of Guardian service, civic engagement, and Marine Corps pride.

Being a Marine taught us discipline,
resilience, and how to lead under pressure.

It’s not just a title—it’s a lifelong mindset.
We carry that same commitment into everything we do.
